Dutch Door House From ‘Fixer Upper’ Season 2 Now Available for $430K

Although the home renovation show “Fixer Upper” has finished its run, the homes that Chip and Joanna Gaines transformed continue to attract attention.

Now there’s a new opportunity for fans of the show to own a Gaines remodel of their very own. The Dutch Door House from Season 2 is on the market in Waco, TX, for $430,000.

If you don’t remember this charming home’s remodel, cast your mind back to 2015. The second episode of the second season featured Kelsey and Trip Purks, who picked this home to receive the full Gaines treatment.

The couple reportedly purchased the run-down property for $80,000, leaving them plenty of room in their $165,000 budget for Chip and Jo to work their magic.

Apparently, the owners’ needs changed, and they sold the abode in 2018 after listing it for $319,900. In 2019, the home came back on the market for $349,000 before selling for an undisclosed amount.

The current asking price sits well above the $245,000 median home listing price in Waco. But homes made over by the “Fixer Upper” team command a premium—and rightfully so.

Appealing abode

Starting with the facade, the home’s drab paint job got a new, gray-green hue. The original Dutch door was also spruced up, adding to its vintage allure.
