March 23 (Reuters) – Russia’s communications regulator has blocked the information aggregator service of Alphabet Inc’s (GOOGL.O) Google, accusing it of allowing for entry to what it calls bogus material about the country’s armed service procedure in Ukraine, Interfax news agency said on Wednesday.
“We’ve confirmed that some persons are getting problems accessing the Google Information application and internet site in Russia and that this is not due to any technical problems on our finish,” Google reported in assertion.

Interfax said Roskomnadzor, the regulator, had acted on a request from the place of work of Russia’s prosecutor general.
