Seagate Development Group announced it has completed a total remodel of a nearly 6,000 square foot, two story grand estate residence at Quail West. The project took a total of nine months to complete. Seagate reimagined the spaces throughout the home and created an on-trend open-concept living environment. Theory Design designed the home’s new interior design. The project also entailed extensive exterior enhancements, including a new driveway, new landscaping, new landscaping lighting, a new roof, and a new exterior pool deck, including new waterline tile in the pool, installation of new pool equipment, and a re-designed outdoor kitchen area.
Inside, Seagate created a new feature wall in the great room to replace what was originally an outdated precast concrete fireplace that extended to the ceiling. The new fireplace is outlined in black stone and features new, on-trend trim cladding that soars all the way to the ceiling. A new sound system is now featured on the home’s first floor, including a subwoofer that is hidden in the ceiling of the adjoining great room and kitchen. In the kitchen, new countertops, new cabinetry, a wet bar, and two wine refrigerators have transformed the space into an appealing gathering place while entertaining.
The entire residence was repainted, including the interior doors that were further enhanced with new door hardware. New wood flooring, trim details, new lighting fixtures and switches, and new plumbing fixtures were installed throughout the home. The study, including an existing custom bookcase, was repainted. All new windows and French doors are found throughout the home. A new railing was installed on the staircase leading to the second floor. All six of the home’s bedrooms were repainted and new flooring was installed. Three of the home’s eight bathrooms were completely renovated. Other enhancements include the installation of new epoxy paint flake flooring in the garage, new garage doors, and a new whole house generator.
Seagate is also executing remodeling projects in Estuary at Grey Oaks, Pelican Bay, the Shadow Wood community, in Miromar Lakes Beach & Golf Club, and on Boca Grande. In addition, Seagate is building custom end-user residences at Esplanade Lake Club, Quail West, Miromar Lakes Beach & Golf Club, Talis Park in North Naples, and at Hill Tide Estates at Boca Grande on Gasparilla Island. Seagate is also continuing to develop new furnished models at Hill Tide Estates, Esplanade Lake Club, Miromar Lakes, Quail West, and in the Isola Bella neighborhood at Talis Park. Seagate’s award-winning Windward Isle community in North Naples is nearly sold out. Seagate’s completed Captiva model in Hill Tide Estates at Boca Grande features an interior by Theory Design’s Ruta Menaghlazi. Priced at $5,995,000 with furnishings, the Captiva model is open for viewing and purchase, Ruta also created the interior for Seagate’s furnished Bal Harbour model at Hill Tide Estates. Priced at $6,900,000 furnished, the Bal Harbour is on schedule for completion in September 2021. Seagate has completed custom end-user residences at Renaissance in Fort Myers, Miromar Lakes, and Hill Tide Estates and is building custom homes in Windward Isle and at Talis Park.
Seagate is Preferred Builder at Quail West and is nearing completion of its new Oak Hill furnished grand estate residence. Priced at $4,895,000, the Oak Hill will be completed in October of this year and will showcase an interior created by Theory Design’s Vice President of Design Ruta Menaghlazi. The furnished model will include 5,760 square feet under air plus an outdoor living area featuring an outdoor kitchen with an island bar and dining area, a conversation area with a fireplace, a pool with sun shelves, bubblers, and a raised spa, and a trellised area with a fire pit. A parlour will overlook the pool. A dining area with a glass-encased walk-in wine room and a bar will be situated between the parlour and the great room and double-island kitchen. The great room will open to the outdoor area. The plan includes three guest suites, two of which open to the outdoors. A study will also overlook the outdoors. The owner’s bedroom will feature a sitting area with sliders opening to a covered patio. Walk-in closets and a morning bar will be positioned in a hallway leading to an owner’s bathroom with his and her vanities and water closets. The bath will also feature a walk-in shower and a free-standing tub. Captivating ceiling designs will be found throughout the home.
The Oak Hill model’s clean-lined interior will blur the line between the indoors and outdoors. An organic color palette will feature warm white and soft canvas backgrounds with hints of green and black, including black window frames. The color scheme will be anchored by light oak hardwood flooring. Numerous features will bring the outdoors in, including a poolside trellised area and a shower in the master bath overlooking a garden. Floor to ceiling windows will contribute to the organic feeling of the design.
The foyer’s see-through view of the spa and pool deck will establish the Oak Hill’s connection to the outdoors. The ceiling in the foyer and parlour will feature a reverse soffit with backlighting and a tray detail. Four chairs and a cocktail table will be positioned adjacent to the walk-in wine room. The dining room will also provide views of the outdoors. An island bar will feature floating shelves set in front of a window, a bar sink, pendant lighting over a quartzite counter, and an undercounter refrigerator and ice maker. Three windows will offer views of the landscaping at the front of the home.
The great room will accommodate a seating area with a sofa, end tables, a cocktail table, and four side chairs. A built-in media center will grace the feature wall. Pocketing sliders will open the space to the outdoors. One island in the kitchen will offer seating and feature pendant lighting fixtures. A second island will provide a food preparation space. The Thermadore appliance package will feature paneled fronts. A butler’s pantry will be located off the kitchen.
The study will feature a window with black trim and a reverse soffit ceiling with rope lighting. The connection to the outdoors will continue in the master bedroom where sliders will open the sitting area to a covered patio. A hallway with a morning bar and two walk-in closets will lead to a master bath with dual water closets, a walk-in shower, a free-standing tub, and dual vanities. A window in the shower will provide a view of a walled garden.
