SIOUX City — The Sioux Town Council will be requested Monday to award a $214,000 contract to a Sioux Town contractor for the Riverside Spouse and children Aquatics Centre Pool Residence renovation venture.
The venture includes the renovation of the 2,180-square-foot existing pool household facility and the design of a 300-square-foot storage creating and employees break area.
The renovation of the pool dwelling will make two available shower areas, transforming spots and lavatory stalls, according to metropolis files.
W.A. Klinger, LLC submitted a foundation bid of $198,000 and a bid of $16,000 for alternate 1, an electrical update, which is 6 percent previously mentioned the architect’s estimate of $211,000.
W.A. Klinger’s bid was a person of five bids obtained by the city. L&L Builders submitted a foundation bid that was $600 fewer than W.A. Klinger’s, but W.A. Klinger’s bid for the electrical update was $2,200 much less.

“We have the budget to approve each the foundation bid and the alternate,” Sioux City Parks and Recreation Director Matt Salvatore said.
