Are you a neighborhood artist? If so the Yakima Arts Commission is hoping you can expect to get associated in the Fall/Winter Downtown Yakima Home windows Alive! challenge.

The task fills vacant storefronts in downtown Yakima with nearby artwork. The commission is now getting programs with a deadline of 5:00PM, Tuesday, August 31. For several decades the regional arts fee has had the work of bringing regional artwork to the downtown spot. In simple fact this is the 10th year of Windows Alive!
The arts fee seems to be over purposes and chooses six projects that will be highlighted in empty storefronts downtown.  Specific artists or groups who are selected to present their work in the home windows will be paid a $250 stipend.

The Drop/Wintertime Windows Alive Venture will be located on the north aspect of Yakima Avenue concerning Hotel Maison and 3rd Road.
